Pratham’s vocational program intends to provide basic employment and awareness to youth through demonstration camps and technology intervention. In addition, Pratham partners with other vocational training providers through a two-part program in order to widen its reach.

MFE seed-funded a micro-center model, a mobile container campus, catering to 10 villages in a 30KM radius, to help improve access to employment opportunities, create awareness and aspirations for these vocations coupled with skills and employment to youth in these areas. This model has now expanded into a Pratham Open School model.
